I just tried DVDFAB 6.1.2.5 on Transformers 2. It appeared to copy fine until i played it. It jumps scenes. Went from 2 minutes into movie then jumped to around the 1/2 way point. Will try again..
I did what someone else had success with by using AnyDVD 6.5.9.4, Right clicking on the icon and choosing rip to hard drive, I then opened in VobBlanker, yes VobBlanker. Blanked most titles, 47 is the one to use, I believe it was in VTS 9. Opened New File in DVDShrink, burned to Standard DVD. Got the entire movie, menu, etc.
Just set the DVD Region to 1 and you do not have to play with anything else. AnyDVD takes care of the rest. But for some weird reason that was all I needed. Have you tried that?
rip with DvdFab 6.1.2.5 and then use FreeDvd.exe( download from dvdfab's website(free)to remove any other copy guards left on the disc. Its works with full movie and just the main movie.
i can't use the "customize" option on my dvdfab because my trial has ended. i tried downloading the newest version from the dvdfab site but when i install it, it just shows my trial has ended still. i am having the same problem with anydvd, my trial has ended for that too. anyone know how to remove all traces of these programs so i can use another trial, or another program i can try?
I got Transformers 2 copied. I just happened to find where it was blocked on the software I was using. I unblocked it and no problems. I use 1click dvd copy 5 and DVD 43. Now I am having trouble copying Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure. I have tried several different programs, but with no results. Does anyone have any suggestions.
This has nothing to do with Transformers 2, we already have an existing thread on this movie, please stick to this one ~ http://forums.afterdawn.com/t.cfm/f-125/tinker_bell_and_the_lost_treasure-809268/
I just finished making a copy of Transformers 2 with dvdfab version 6.1.2.5. testing out movie now but it is late so i might fall asleep and to make sure no problems. it did require a DVDR DL (double layer) disc though. Copy seems alright to me it definitely doesn't look like my Blu-ray version i bought on day one though.
Hello all. Sorry for my long absence, work takes the front seat and pleasure in the back lol. Well grabbed a copy of Transformers 2 today on DVD, and used CloneDVD2 (latest) and AnyDVD 6.9.5.6, and was able to successfully backup the movie on a DL disc. I unticked all titles except for 81 and 1 (all having a zero runtime). Below is the protection on it for Region 4. hi i have the anydvd 6596 and i keep getting this error Sorry, but trial versions are not allowed to use the update server! The AnyDVDHD trial is intended for functionality testing only and, for business reasons, updates for processing some new discs are not available. ERROR processing Blu-ray disc! Anydvd needs a critical componant update to decrypt this disk?? what can i do???
i have changed the setting to region 4 as my bd player is region 4 Transformers2 however will not open as i keep gettng that message that it needs a Critical update,....
little confused here I used anydvd 6.5.9.5 and clonedvd2 and I un ticked everything except the top one which had the longest run time and un ticked preserve menus and copied to a dvd5 using the above listed programs and imgburn to burn with no problems. I thought this was the dvd version we were talking about am I wrong are we actually talking about the blu ray version?
you really don't need imgburn since you are using clonedvd2. use the top box CopyDVDTitles and you're off to the races. we are talking about the standard DVD here other than a few posters
I'm still having problems backing this movie up using dvdfab 6.1.2.5. I'm trying to get the movie only & when I burn it the scenes are out of order. How do you determine which title to use? Thanks
