Gentlemen (and Ladies if any), I am using Anydvd 6.5.9.5 to rip the movie to HDD. Now, I am a little confused on the next step, do I use CloneDVD to burn it or do I need to use some other programs first? What about all the junk that we don't want? Please help!! I tried the conventional way, using Anydvd in background, and then DVD Decrypter, it was telling me it needs over 4 hours to rip it....so gave that up.

Please help anyone with a step by step after ripping with Anydvd, thanks in advance!

If you are still having trouble backing up Transformers-Revenge of the Fallen, give this a try. Run dvdfab 6. Disable pathplayer. Then go to preview and uncheck show preview window automatically. Close dvdfab. Restart dvdfab. Click main movie. Once dvdfab reads the disc, check title 47. A reading error may or may not appear. If it does, just click ignore. You should be able to decrypt movie now. Worked for me. Hope it works for you.

I never could get anydvd to work, I am stumped in this area. But the new updated dvdfab 6.0.7.0 worked great, just took a long time to open the disc, but once it was opened it worked flawlessly, thanks again Xenokai and to everyone else who tried to help me. I never post anything on this site but I enjoy and appericate the helpful comments that I have read over the past several years.

Ok, AnyDvd has finished ripping the movie to my HDD, now i am using VobBlanker to remove the junk, but for some strange reasons, it shows that the end result has a larger file than its original.....wth????? Can anyone help? Should I not use VobBlanker at all? Any advise!

Hi. I am new here, as far as posting, but I have always found the site helpful. I tried dvdfab6, and selecting title 47 as suggested and it seemed fine up to that point. When I tried to use shrinkdvd to open the file it said the file couldn't be found. did I do something wrong? I think I need to open the file with shrinkdvd and then backup, correct? Then I can use imageburn to burn the movie?

Try latest anydvd 6.5.9.5; I had no issues. Could not completed task with dvdfab, unfortunately even with the most current beta version of said product.

I did all this, and am now trying to use dvdshrink to put it on a disc. My trial version of anydvd is expired, so any other help is greatly appreciated. :)

Ok, guys, this is what I did:

Anydvd 6.5.9.5 to rip movie to HDD

VobBlanker to process through the movie files

CloneDVD2 to copy the movie into desktop folder

It works! I can watch it on my computer with menu and all. So, now I can easily burn it to disc without making a coaster. Have fun!

I can confirm that anyDVD 6.5.9.5 will handle this one.

DvdFab with pathplayer turned off, main movie, title set 47 will rip.

From there, process through VobBlanker, DvdRebuilder (due to the compression necessary) and burn with Imgburn.

    Done!

Yeah, I was trying everything too today to rip the DVD! I though the new DVDfab was a fake at first lol. However, I did get the main movie to work with pathplayer off like everyone else! I honestly do not need the menus to enjoy this movie, as long as I have the movie, I am fine. So thank you so much for whoever got that to work! :)

This really sucks to have to try all this! I'm also getting the error while reading message with today's release. Going to the DVDfab forum to find out when they plan on releasing a fix for this.

In this case that would be Fengtao, who should be hard at work for a fix for this one to allow full-dvd rip via normal process. ;)

I assure you he's working on it as the IFO's have been provided. It's not that difficult if you want to get it ripped. :)

anyDVD has a 21 day free trial period.

DvdFab HD Decrypter is free, the full version is payware after the initial 30 days.

anyDVD is well worth having and purchasing. You'll find that many of the regulars on here have both DvdFab and anyDVD. :)
