Ok. Great guys. Now it looks like we're going to have to either use DVD Rebuilder for those that want to, or live w/a so so good copy for a lot of flics soon here. I've noticed they've been lengthening the flics to about a lil over 2hrs now for some time. Even The Zombie Flic w/Woody was over 2 hrs. Otn, time to get Transformers and make the Doughnuts. Lol... I haven't clocked my AMD Phenom 3 I believe it is w/2 sticks of screaming DDR3 mem on my Asus M4A78T-E, but I think it'll do just fine.
ok so my copy plays well up unit the end of the movie, then it starts to skip on my DVD player in my room. however, it plays all of it on my DVD with no problem with the family DVD in the living room. I think my DVD player is time for an upgrade lol. many of my DVDs are having problems playing and stuff I put together. My DVD player upstairs plays anything with no problem.
I just got Windows 7 on Sunday & I'll be danged if I spend unnecessary money for something like AnyDVD or another ripping software when I use Fab and Imgburn for everything. With that said it was not necessary for me to go back to 6.0.7.0, I used the latest one 6.1.1.8 and used the same process and it worked.
Was able to sucessfully burn Transformers 2 with 4 programs: RipIt4me (1.7.0.0)using the 1 click mode (movie only), with Any DVD 6.5.9.5 running in the background, Dvd decrypter, and finally burned it with DVD Shrink. Allow Any DVD to read the Transformers 2 disc. Open RipIt4me & chose 1 click mode, then movie only. It will eventually open up Dvd Decrypter. Choose decrypt and allow it to work it's magic. After Dvd decrypter is done, Dvd Shrink will open, make sure you have a blank 4.7 GB disc in & click backup. You will need approx 10 GB of free space when you start this whole ordeal, as Dvd decrypter needs temporary space, as well as Dvd shrink. I did this & had no problem. Didn't have to go to title 47 or anything like that & all chapters were in order.
Originally posted by Xenokai: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Its easy guys... With DVDFAB 6.0.7.0 1. Remove disk 2. Boot dvdfab and goto settings and then pathplayer and disable it. 3. put disk in and select main movie. 4. when all the movies pop up select title 47 5. you might get errors but just hit ignore all and keep ignoring them. 6. hit the next button when it pops up (might take bit) 7. it should eventually start ripping. (if you get some errors before it starts ripping just hit ignore all) Thanks to paschal93 for the info. I used this approach to rip it to my hard drive at this point I dropped it into DVD Shrink DVD Shrink Read the file as unreferenced material but it still recognized the movie. It wouldn’t let me re-author the disc [control the default streams] I then processed the file in VOB Blanker. Re-entered the file into DVD Shrink DVD Shrink then recognized the file as a movie file & I was able to enter the re-author mode & control the default streams [I set the default on the sub-titles to “hide”] & get a successful burn.
Thats a pretty long process there buddy 0.o Anydvd OR perhaps Dvdfab is all you need then your Transcoder/encoder...And then of course your burning engine. Imgburn for the win!
Having no luck trying to copy Transformers 2. Read other posts and it says to rip in ANYDVD. I have the newest version 6.5.9.5 and when I try to rip it to harddisk it says my drive is not ready. In Clone DVD all I get is it has copy protection. How do I copy this? Or do I have to wait for ANYDVD to come up with a solution? Need some help and any help would be greatly appreciated.
Drive is not ready? Im not sure which device that pertains to. Either your Harddrive or your Optical drive. If it means your harddisk, then its possible you don't have enough disk space. But if that were the case, I would think it would tell you exactly that. Perhaps its some kind of Optical drive problem. Did you try ripping from another drive? Or do you only have 1? Are you sure you selected the proper device to Rip FROM? Because if you select a drive that has no disc, it will give you that error. If you have selected the right device, and your sure the disc is in there, then your Rom could have a problem reading discs. I would recommend a lite-on...
JUST FOR FUN: I "De-fur the Feline to the Bone in less that 60 minutes" Using the RipIt4me Process: RipIt4me: "Movie Only" DVD Decrypter Shrink: To compress the 4,648MB to around 4,300MB 'n' Deep Analysis. DVD Decrypter to Bur. Good Luck Every Body !!!
My Transformer Back-up using RipIt4me method (1 Click Mode and Full DVD): Come-Out "BETTER" but it takes longer since you need to "Automatically Ignore Read Errors" and compress another 111MB to get the ISO File ready to burn !
Can anyone explain how new DVDs can come out with new types of encryption but yet the players are still able to play them? DVD players don't go on the web to get updates of new encryption methods, so I would think the newer DVDs would have to stay the same in how they get encrypted. thanks
Now I could be wrong but the encryption has no factor to playing on a DVD player. If the region changed that's a different story.....encryption is a security feature to protect against copying the movie not viewing it......the new encryption method was released to prevent people from copying new movies.....obviously it didn't work out too well.....hope this helps
babaganoo: Always gonna be a PC's or Electronics Software Programers Engineers making up-dates or making a New Encryptions Rippers Programs for every day use on this Digital-Age. Some Programs are more popular that Others. But I bet you than always gonna be a better unpopular program out-there doing a better job that those well-known.
Transformers has been one of the very few ( 3-4 )movies that i have not been able to copy. I am guessing that although i am using AnyDvd 6.5.9.5, the newest CloneDvd as well as DVD decrypter and dvd region free as well as DVD Shrink. rip4me AND am still not able to make a copy of that movie MY GUESS is that most of my problems are that my DVD's ( Optical drives) are 1-2 years old and they are having a hard time really reading the disks as they should. They, the Optical drives, ate Liteon.... Does anyone have a suggestion as to what DVD Drives might be better @ brand and model. Although i can easily play the movie on my PC i have thus far been unable to copy it. If it were easy then everyone would be doing it so i guess that those that make the movies want to throw in a new copy protection every now and then... All i and 99.9999% of us want to do is back up the movies that we already went out and bought so that we dont scratch the original. Any hints/ suggestions other than what has already been posted would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
babaganoo: I also like to add: Many Software Programers Engineers are 2 Faces: They make money Making New Encryptions and also they make Money too, making a Encryption Rippers Programs. Everythings Goes around "MONEY" !
