i just got the eurovox max , looks like it was a bad day to get it,with a;; these code changes, anyway, im in sligo on Cho**S cable. i do a full scan. i have set the rate to 9875 it scans for ages and has lots of 80%+ green bars, but it fails to find any transponders ( tp: 000) so i get not channels, does anyone know how i might fix this?
well its a cable that comes into the house from underground, im in sligo town,in a hosuing estate. i was getting bills from ch***s but now they are "cho**s nt/". shouldn't i be getting some transponders even if i dont have any codes put in, i did a full scan,that every symbol rate and i still got tp: 000. iv tried every version of the firmware for my box on http://eko.4shared.com/
Have you tried N** 6887. You should still get transponders without codes, but need codes to unscramble channels.
..........problem solved..... i rang up ch**rs,told them i wanted to upgrade to digital cable, told them my area,they said it was digital(as they had before when i asked them last time) i asked them to make 100% they asked for my account number.... then said,,,no wait... your cable is not digital at this point in time,but it possibly will be in the near future.......i asked when she said "no idea". so not to all people about to buy a box,,ring your cable company and make 100% sure. anyone want to buy a brand new flashed with the newest firmware eurovox max v 2800?perfect con and still has 363 days warrenty.
im going to sell this box, since its already flashed with the newest firmware,its pretty much plug and play. how much should i look for,for this box?
