i just installed a fliptop and ever since then my tray always gets stuck when closing and there seems to be a spot where it gets stuck when opening, but manages 2 get past that and opens fine. could it be that i tightened my ps2 screw too tight? i thought that all i had 2 do was loosen the screws, but i guess my real problems is, can i loosen them too much?

could it be you used a wrong version flip top? also, if you can see what the tray is getting caught on (say like a little piece of the flip top) why don't you just shave it down a bit so the tray can be free and clear of it.

    its the right version fliptop
    and thanks ill try that
but i have sort of the same problem with my memory card
when i put it in there a sweaking noise as if it too is scracting against the fliptop. so still, could it be that its just too tight and need some loosening?
