I'm having a problem with my Antivirus. I just got my Laptop this past February and got everything installed (i.e. antivirus, spyware, other programs...) I had the Geeksquad install everything. well my problem is that i have Trend Mirco, and it won't let me install it onto my home PC. I get this sign that says that I can't install onto more than one computer... and it wants a password. I want to keep it on my Laptop and also install it onto my home PC. Is this possible? any possible LOOPHOLES, maybe? any info would work! Thanks GUYS!
The "password" is probably a licence key and there is no way to install it on 2 computers without somehow changing the source code. (dont know how) Edge
You could image the program install directory.. and any dll's it installed (how you would find out which without a legal installer, or an image of the windows\system directory before and after installation, is a mystery) then find and manually add the registry key. Reboot should then activate and register the program properly. Close to cracking.. saying no more.
