I was messing with the date on my computer (for another program) and not it tells me that my "trial version" of DVD43 has expired. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this problem so I can use it again with DVDXCopy?
DVD43 is absolutely free. I don't know where you got your copy but the download from our site is legit. http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/dvd_tools/dvd43.cfm
Yeah...I saw another thread somewhere on the site here talking about somebody improperly taking DVD43 and selling it as their own. They offer it for free...like the original...but then tell users the trial period has expired!!!
they all downloaded it from afterdawn (see thread) http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/86719 but it ran only for one day free.... to be sure to get a free version download version 1.4 from http://www.dvd43.com
Bollocks. I uninstalled and redownloaded ver. 2.0.0.71 from AD a week ago and it is fine. Here's a quote from the readme: _X_X_X_X_X_[small] JMLS-166S/Plextor PX-708A/Plextor Premium[/small]
now it's updated to read UPDATE: Version 2.0 is not freeware anymore, though. If you're OK with Patin-Couffin driver and looking for the freeware solution, please check out version 1.4.
