    Hi everyone,

To make a long story short, for the last 6 hours a video file was transcoding, and just as it was about to be burned to disc NERO crashed on me. I managed to undelete the transcoded .TMP files but I can't seem to find a way to trick this program into using them instead of transcoding the movie all over again. Am I screwed?

does nero have a working folder? not sure what it is by default? could be in my documents... you maybe able to burn that.

next time save to hard drive its alot safer then burn in a separate action.

I usually do, just to see if I'm happy with the end-product before I burn it, but right now I'm on an acient computer using what I believe may be Nero 2, and there wasn't enough space on the HDD for both the temporary files and an image :)

I did find two folders under My Documents, one called Nero Recode and one called Nero Vision. The default temp folder for nero is the root directory of the F: drive though...

Really, at this point I think I might just try the whole thing from the beginning again and pray to the ancient gods of antique technology that it'll work this time.
