What else is there?? I did it all... What media works the best for HP DVDWrite 640c?? I have been trying to use Memorex, but no luck. It's weird On CloneDVD2 with AnyDVD it does the whole reading, but not writing. it says setting up, erasing and then it says media write error
I had this burner, it was not exactly the best and is picky. There is also no support for the drive, when I had problems with it I called HP and got nowhere. Try some 8x media if you can find it, I used Verbatim, Sony, Fuji and Maxell with the burner successfully.
