TRIMMING MY DVD

    I have a film which i encoded and the size is 4.9gig is there anyway i can trim this down so i can fit it on a dvdr?? i have dvdshrink but dont know whether it can be done that way as i have no extras on the disc that need removing. Any help would be much appreciated.

    DVDShrink will work just fine. Also, CloneDVD2 and Nero Recode.

    DVD Shrink does it automatically by default. You can edit out what you don't want by clicking on whatever part of the movie it is you want to edit and make the changes in "Compression Settings". That'll do it. Unless of course you choose to utilize Shrinks default settings at outset. 4.9 gigs will probably be compressed at about 90-95 % which shouldn't really affect the integrity of the movie.
