Hi all. I know I'm going to get a few people wanting to know why in the world I would need to have all three newest OS's Microsoft has out so I'll tell you now. I troubleshoot with people from time to time and need to keep the differences straight between the three. Also, since I'm a student, I can get each OS for about 90% off of the retail price. I'm not all that excited about Vista, but I'll have it if I need it. Here's the software I have: Windows XP Pro 32-bit FULL (needs installed), Vista Ultimate 32-bit UPGRADE (needs installed), and 7 Ultimate 32-bit UPGRADE (currently installed). I would really love to be able to keep the current install, but not sure its going to be possible when you get into MBR stuff... My system specs are in my signature. Currently Win7 is on the WD 320GB. I'm planning on leaving that HDD alone. I want to put both Vista and XP (maybe a linux OS later on) on the Seagate 250GB with 2 or 3 partitions... As of now I have already partitioned the Seagate with the sizes I want and 3 partitions... I know this is pretty specific what I want, but I'd like to see what you all think. Thanks for all your help!
Instead of doing all that... why don't you run a VM for some of these? You could use VirtualBox. Might be easier.
Yeah I thought about that, but I want to be able to play games for certain exclusive OS games... I know its picky, but there's a few games that are vista exclusive, and the majority of the time I will use xp for gaming. 7 is for everyday stuff and later for, again, exclusives... Thanks for the suggestion
