    Hi,

I was on p2p last week and when I opened a folder my norton security appeared telling me I was infected with a trojan horse and was at high risk, and couldn't remove it. Plenty of times norton said I was infected but also, right there and then it would say it removed the trojan horse or whatever infected my computer. i tried the full system scan, but it detects nothing, I also went to the "check security" where norton does a system scan online, but that returned safe. I was going to do a "system restore" but that means i'd lose whatever programmes I downloaded since then. Could this trojan horse go undetected? Any way of getting rid of this, or even detecting it?

to get into safemode, will have to restart the computer & just after the post screen start tapping the f8 button til a menu comes up. this this menu will have safe mode probably near the top , select that than windows will load. a warning comes up saying you are running in safe mode press enter. the screen will not look the same as normal mode

Hi, ill give safe mode a try first cause its takin a while to get in the system scan website for some reason. So when I start in safe mode, just carry on til i'm finished doin the norton scan and when i'm totally finished, just restart my pc and it'll back to normal ?
