Lately when I turn my PC on, I get all these windows popping up saying I have spyware. I have done msconfig and disabled everything, disabled add-ons, and ran a virus scan. I took screen shots, but not sure how to post pics on here. The virus scan couldn't quarantine a file called C:/system volume information/_restore{4792c4d7-oe31-47do-9b56-99329d2o4f32}/rp1101/ao174328.exe It was classified Trojan: W32/Agent.fspj Also, upon startup I get this message: Error Loading C:/WINDOWS/system32/pyrbvnva.dll Invalid Access to Memory Location The longer my PC is on, the slower it gets. How can I fix it? Thanks. Dan
What antivirus did you use? Maybe you should try to use other spyware remover. __________________ To err is human, but to really foul things up requires a computer Spyware Protection Unleashed / Anti-Spyware
I used Norman (not Norton) antivirus. I have heard that many anti-spyware programs can actually make the spyware worse. Hopefully some of you out there can give me some advice.
those pop ups you keep getting is the actual spyware i think. i would go to http://www.freewarefiles.com/ and download spybot s&d and trojan killer 1.3. both are free with no strings. after downloading spybot run a full scan. then run trojan killer and run a scan and it will advise what is ok and what is not.. this should sort it out. post back how you get on..
hi dshaggy. Just wanted to correct a myth you brought up. Antispyware programs do not make spyware worse. Only rogue antispyware programs are spyware themselves, and many antispyware programs on the internet nowadays are not rogue. If you wish to get only legitimate antispyware programs, you can visit sites like download.com or softpedia. Best Regards
