I have a Bush DVD and VHS recorder but anything I record onto dvd will not play back on any other equiptment other than that specific player. is there a way to convert it on my PC that will enable me to use what I record anywhere else?. At the moment even my pc wont recognise that the disc has anything on it let alone play it !
You need to either use a r/w disk or finalize the disk you have burned to. It's down to the recording mode they use in these machines.
