trouble playing ps2 on 42" plasma NOT HD!

    ive just got a 42" plasma tv model nomber mx42le7 i hooked my wii up it works fine i tried to hook my ps2 up to it but the sound comes on on the ps2 menu but when i put any games in the sound is there at te begining then it goes off when i start the game i no its not the ps2 cos it works fine on other tvs any ideas wat tis could be it is the older big ps2 and its connected by the plug tat goes into the aerial socket???

    Try using the video and audio outs, the picture quality will also be improved.

    do u mean the red,yellow and white plugs??if so i thought that but i dont have yellow plug on my tv just red,white and bblue and green watever they are for????
    pls help its very frustrating lol

    never mind sortesd now i plugged the couloured plugs in this scart adapter i found and yay its working
