My kernel is 5838 My dash is 5960 First tried using a hipgear memory card with Action Replay and SID5.Loader.SplinterCell.NTSC.zip SID5.Installer.zip This would make the light go from green-orange-red(I think) then the screen would go black and not install the mod. After pulling out my hair on this one I rented 007AUF and had the same outcome of course with SID5.Loader.007AUF.zip SID5.Installer.zip After losing in both of the fights I tried to use a 128Dane elec thumb drive. I used this tutorial. http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/578329 I can get action replay to recognize it if I have it installed when I boot up but it is temperamental. When I put it in my xbox it is not recognized. So I dumped that idea and was going to embark on this mission.... http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-softmod-your-xbox...for-FREE/ .....but I figured I probably did something dumb along the way and that is why it is not working. If someone can suggest either a usb card to use or better software that would be great. Thanks to all.
for your thumb drive, did you make sure to uninstall and reinstall the ar software, and b4 opening it again did u change the go codes in the xbreader file to your pid and vid codes. I did this and it worked for me w/ same flashdrive. if none of this works, reply and i will give u more descriptive answers on how to do this.
