    Hello to start off, this is my pc setup;

    Intel QX6850 Core 2 Extreme
    4x1GB sticks of OCZ PC2-6400 Platinum Revision 2 RAM
    Asus P5W Deluxe Motherboard
    Geforce 8800 GT
    750W Power Supply
    LG Blu Ray Drive
    320 GB Seagate harddrive.
    Running Windows XP Pro

    The problem i'm having is first of all, I kept getting BSOD'd when i was trying to install windows xp, until i took out all my ram, and only left one in, first i thought the ram could be defective, but the computer starts up fine when either one of the ram sticks are in, currently i have it running smoothly with 2x1gb sticks of ram, but when i try to put in all 4, the computer either will BSOD or not start up at all.

    The 2nd problem i'm having, is I have to restart 3 times before all my drivers will be recognized. I've tried reinstalling the OS, and after a day, the computer will not recognize the LAN and Sound drivers until i've restarted 3 times.

    If anyone could shed some light onto what problem i could be having, this would be great.

    Do you have some kind of "dual channel" option for the memory, when you go to BIOS?

    not sure, but i assume its auto, since when i have 4 sticks of ram in, at the post bios screen it says "PC2 5300 Dual Channel Interleaved" although all my ram is marked 6400....

    and if i put in 3 sticks of ram, it doesnt say dual channel interleaved anymore
