trouble With Bewitched? Look Here.

Unfortunatly, I bought for my kids!! Big mistake....

 

Is there a way to use DVDFab and DVD Shrink and still get the whole disc with menu funtionality and all that? If so is there a guide some where on how to do this? Also, I think DVD43 updated or something because 2 days ago I couldn't get Bewitched to shrink but today I popped it in and the size was different and it's shrinking with no problems so far.

 

DVDFab should do it no problems. Just make sure you have the most current release.

 

They have released a new version of DVDFab Decrypter. It fixes the "Madagascar" issue. This is taken from the change log in DVDFab Decrypter 2.9.5.8:

temj, i am somewhat new to this have been using dvd fab plat for some time , when you used dvd decrypter was that all you used i have never used anything that rips always used one that reads then writes right back to the blank disk .

 

I used DVDFab Decrypter to do "Bewitched". I always "rip" first to the hard drive, then process with DVD Shrink or Nero Recode 2, then burn using Nero manually (not automatic with DVD Shrink).

 

Just did Bewitched with DVD Shrink in reauthor mode and DVD43 running the background - no problems and no compression required.

On a PIII 800 with 256RAM it took 21 minutes to encode and 13 minutes to burn using Nero at 4X

Think the trick is to use re-author mode to bypass all the extra crap they try to load on the full DVD.

 

I was finally able to back up Madasgascar.I am using the trial version of dvdfab platinum.I used the express version and backed up only the movie,then burned with Nero express 2.I am going to continue to experiment,because I like to back up the whole disc.

 

Just ripped Bewitched. Used DVD shrink with no problem. Used Dycripter first then Shrink.

hey i used any dvd to copy stealth & madagascar no problem but now any dvd keeps getting an error then send a error report and closes. before i got any dvd i could copy madgascar to a dual layer as shrink keeps getting error. so after i got any dvd i tried to copy n shrink the DL disk that wasn't shurnk and stilll get an error in shrink as well as any dvd gets error!

 

randy you have some programs confliting try uninstalling and reinstalling the programs

 

ok yes im new anyway i have burnt 3 dvds no prob with dvd decrypter and clonedvd any nero its a god send. yes ive read all the threads still little conf. i have nero, dvd decry. any dvd, and dvd region/css also clone dvd some said using those have worked cool. email me please at [REMOVED] with step by step inst. please im stuck on bewitched and stealth thank you for ur time.

 

lovecar, first off DONT post your email against fourm rules and you might get spamed.

you dont need BOTH regionfree/css and anydvd ,just use anydvd with CloneDVD 2 for the newer movies that have the new encrytion on them. its the ARccOS protection on them thats giving you problems dvd decrypter and dvd shrink ALONE wont work.

heres a guide to use CloneDVD 2 with anydvd (THESE ARE THE ONLY TWO PROGRAMS YOU NEED) to do Bewitched and Stealth or any movie for that matter

REMEMBER to use good blank media as in Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim and burn at 4x

 

was able to burn stealth with dvdfab decrypt now it wont work i put on fab decrypt and express did not like express so i took it off npw my decrypt for dvd fab keeps frezzing/// stacked dump or something like that so i uninstall and reinstall still wont work please help its a cool program now it wont work

HELP!!!
I followed this string to backup my copy of Bewitched and it worked great.

New problem, after adding AnyDVD, backing up Bewitched, then adding DVDFab Decrypter, I can no longer backup ANYTHING! I tried to backup War of the Worlds and since then, DVD shrink doesn't work.

I use DVDShrink and now all it does is copy the files, place them in the correct file, then advises me to burn it. I have all the programs I had before, but DVDShrink doesn't seem to recognize the Nero burner.

Any suggestions?!?
