I have a Panasonic LF-D311 DVD RAM/R burner. I have Nero 5.5 and RecordMax Now and can copy to the DVD RAM with no trouble. I can play DVD's but when I want to burn to a DVD-R it won't recognize the media. I don't know what to do, I have tried 3 different disc's/ brands with the same results. And Panasonic has been of no help, their 800 tech suppoirt number won't recognize the product number so it won't connect me, and calling other numbers has led me to a number of "call this number" so I'm getting frustrated. Any help is appreciated.
I have researched this problem for quite a while, and found that many people are having the same problem. We believe it is an ASPI issure between nero and the lf-d311. I read somewhere that nero has there own apsi drivers. I have not looked into that though. You will need to download another program to work with your panasonic. I use Gear DVD Pro 6.0, and have had pretty good luck. I scoured nero's site, and even sent them an email. I am still waiting for a reply!
