im downloading off mirc and the bot that im downloading from must be off line or something. and i wanted to know if i switch off mirc will l lose my download?? if so how can i resume it?? i went to my downloader and all the servers are offline whats up with that??
it depends on the bot really. sometimes if you leave the channel for any amount of time, you'll loose your que slot, other times not. i've left IRC for up to 6 hours once and when i came back i was still in que. btw, it's IRC, not mirc, mIRC is just a generic script). and yes you can resume if the script is set that way, go to file/option/DCC and make sure it's set to resume.
