When I went to record a tv program with nero 7 ultra it said it had to do a test to find available stations-fine. I have a hauppauge tv tuner,but the ir tuner never worked-no problem, I just changed stations from my cable box. After the test I'm stuck on one station and my cable box remote can't change channels. How do i resolve this problem?

If I understand your problem, to have more channels available, I would hook the cable directly into the tuner card without the cable box. Then you should have at least the basic set of channels. Since you can only get one channel through the cable box anyway, as long as you can see channel 4 or 3 with Nero, you should be able to change the channel on the cable box. I guess I don't see why Nero would pick up any other channel except 3 or 4 since that is what the box puts out. It also sounds like you are saying that Nero is controlling the Hauppauge card and not allowing the cable box to change channels. That sounds a little strange. If you disconnect the box from the turner, can it change channels? Sorry I don't have a TV tuner card to test with NeroVision 4 capture mode.
