I have a plextor px-716A I use dvd decrypter (latest version) and the dvds (memorex dvd-r) will play in my computer but not in my Playstation 2, the funny thing is I have played burned dvd's in it before using the same kind of dvd from a friend. Is there anything that I can do to find out if it is my computer or my player?

i use decypter to burn and shrink to "shrink" the dvd down. Then burn w/ the burner that came w/ my new HP pc (off brand im sure). I use sony dvd-r disks. Works everytime!!

    Hi there,

I assume PS2 are picky since I have read a lot of people having issues with their PS2 not playing their copied DVD.

The solution, they used better media AND burned real slow.

    2x or 4x MAX !

    Good Luck !

I have heard that they are very picky, but honestly, I just use sony dvd-r and they worked first time. I am very new to this burning dvd thing, but so far i havent made 1 coaster. Try sony dvd-r and use decyrpter and shrink, works for me.....
