Just recently my media player 10 is giving me a headache. I have some wmv files and when I click on them I can hear the audio but not see the pic. This is what I have done to try and fix the problem, I have uninstalled it, reinstalled it, updated to media player 11. Then thought it might be a os problem so f disked and formatted. I have downloaded all the codecs from microsoft, installed the encoder with the same result, audio but no video. It is very important to fix this problem, as just before my father passed away I got a cam corder, so I have the only footage of him. And of course was saved as wmv files. I have tried other players one was nero and the other was a player can't remember the name was JT something I think, I read about it in here somewhere LOL. None worked I have the same trouble, I am at wits end and don't know what to do, please help. Before I forget I am running xp pro, fully up to date. 3g ram and plenty of hhd space. AMD 64x2 dual core processor 3600+ 1.90GHz. But like i said was working up to about a week ago, do not know what happened to stop it working
