My adaware recently picked up a trojan in my pc so i looked up the
trojan online to find out about it and read about a program called True Sword that is supposed to delete trojans for you and prevent any more getting in. Has anyone heard of this program as i searched but from what i read people seem to think it is actually spyware so i am wary of trying it. Also i read somebody uses a program called Spyware Warrior so i was wondering if it is any good? I have spybot, spyware blaster, adaware, avg antispyware and malwarebytes anti malware already. I recently installed a program called Super Antispyware after being recommended by a proper online computer technician but system mechanic picked up the updater for the program as having a trojan inside so i uninstalled every trace of it from my pc straight away so i am wary of installing any other programs now. If anyone knows anything about True Sword or Spyware Warrior i would be grateful if they could let me know if they are safe programs to use, thanks

    hi,

if you have all those installed, that is way too many.
    more dosn't equal better security.
they only overlap in what they do.

i would stay with the proven ones. i would not go with true sword
spyware warrior? as far as i know this is the website below, not a antimalware app.
    http://www.spywarewarrior.com/rogue_anti-spyware.htm

all the others;ok including superantispyware-- but two is plenty.
do your self a favor and learn how malware can end up on your computer, so you can avoid it or do whats needed. i have some prevention tips in link below

Thanks for replying to my post. The reason i have so many antispyware progams is because they each detect different types of spyware or trojans. Spybot has detected things other programs did not and Adaware also. The first trojan came from Superanitspyware's updater so i would not have expected that as it was recommended on a proper proffesionals site but i have uninstalled it and removed every trace of it to get rid of the trojan it gave me. The second trojan came with a vso 3.0 i downloaded from mininova. My adaware picked it up during a scan and found it inside a crack that came with the vso but luckily i had not installed it so it removed it for me without getting into my pc. I use avg antispyware because that has detected things that the others did not also and because i can scan files before opening them with it but unfortunately the only program that was able to detect the last trojan was adaware so i did not know it was there until i scanned my pc with it. I will not use true sword as i cannot find anything to show it is a legitimate program though

superantispyware is a excellent anitmalware app.
mininova is a tracker, it didnt give you anything.
two antimalware apps are enough. happy surfing
