There's a newer firmware (PFS3) avilable for your burner here: http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=1965 Click on the firmware number to download to your computer and then doubleclick the downloaded file. Newer media usually requires newer firmware. Your Nero is a little out of date. You may want to upgrade to version 6.6.0.18. To do so, run the Nero 6 Clean Tool first. To reset this: Right click on My Computer and select Properties. Click the Hardware tab. Click the Device Manager button. Click the "+" beside IDE ARA/ATAPI Controllers. AM3 [/bold] CMC Mag is poor quality media. Try to use Taiyo Tuden, Verbatim, and Made in Japan labeled Fuji and Sony media for best results.
