trying to backup new movie but burner keeps turning off

    Using an external driver with dvd x platimunm software. Rescue reads disk starts to copy then shuts off before it finshes coping .

    HELP!@

    I'm not trying to avoid your question but if you read this post http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/102002
    there are a lot of people there that have the same problem you are having and there are just to many things that could be wrong with your external drive, but I think they cover just about everything in this post. If not please respond back.

    1) XCopy question? .... You need to use aD's XCopy forum: http://dvdxcopy.afterdawn.com

    2) You need to provide more info. System specs, which writer (make & model), version of Platinum. And if you can post a log.

    To find you log: local disk -> programs -> 321Studios Folder -> Platinum -> logs.
