I'm using Nero Express to try to burn MP3 files to disc. They appear to burn successfully, but when I put the disc in the player it only sees 1 file, and it doesn't play. I suspect this is something pretty basic, but I'm getting frustrated trying to figure it out by myself....not to mention wasting a lot of discs. Any help? Thanks, Gerry
If you are trying to play it in a cd player, it wont work unless if your cd player cna read mp3 format disks, so if your cd player cant read mp3 format disks, then you will have to burn it as an audio disk.
that's not the problem. the player will play mp3 discs. i downloaded a tutorial from Nero about burning mp3 discs and, as far as i can tell, I am doing exactly the same things they did in the tutorial. i have tried different burn speeds, by the way, without any effect. what happens when i put the disc in my player is that it only sees 1 file, even though i may have burned 30. it gives the appearance of playing (numbers change in the display) but there is no sound. i appreciate your efforts. gerry
yes, they are all mp3 i saw this exact situation described in another forum site, but it is a site that charges, and i have been resisting paying to join because i don't even know if the question was answered satisfactorily or if the problem was solved. if i burn the same mp3 files to a cd disc, nero converts them to cd files and they play fine...but that just leaves me right back where i started. thanks gerry
