Trying to burn with Nero 6 - Speed problem?

    I'm a real newbie on burning to Disc, but succeeded recently using Nero 6 with imation CD+_RW 4.7GB 4X compatiable.

    I'm now trying to burn with TDK (same spec.) but the speed seems ro be limited to 2.4. Earlier this afternoon 4 seemed to be available but has now disappeared! Any ideas?

    My drive is an LG that can handle up to 24x

    Is there a limit to speed according to file sizes??

    ??? 2.4 pionts to a dvdr + format? not CDR?

    you sure you are in CDRW mode?

    may need nero "DRIVESPEED" tools to see your drives first? found in start menu under nero.
