TRYING TO COMPRESS A 730MB AVI FILE TO A 700MB DISK

    IS THERE IA WAY THAT I CAN COMPRESS A 730MB AVI MOVIE FILE TO A 700MB CD-R. TO BE ABLE TO WATCH ON ANY DVD PLAYER.

    First, please turn off the caps lock, yelling is not necessary. To answer you questions: The first is YES, any avi. encoding program (AutoGK, FairUse Wizard, etc) can re-encode your file to 700mb. The second is NO, the player has to be capable of playing those type of files (divx or xvid). Many newer ones can but most older ones cannot.
