Trying to connect Dreambox through rf modulator

Heres my seup if i leave anything out let me know

LG 42LF6
Dreambox 500S/ rca and scart out
Liteon LVW5026B
RF Modulator from Maplins rca and scart in
4 way powered signal booster/splitter

I have the ariel wire running straight down into the modulator and a wire from that back up to the splitter.
I connected the Dreambox to the modulator using rca leads
I then ran a scart lead from the dreambox to the liteon and from there to the tv.
I tuned the rf modulator into a free channel on the LG tv and then done the same on the kitchen tv.
When i turn the kitchen tv of at the wall i loose the picture on the LG
I have to go through scanning again so the LG will pick up the dreambox, if i leave it on the first channel i scanned for example 45 the picture is there but very dark and unwatchable, i then have to scan to another channel say 35. I scan the channels on the tv kitchen and it will pick it up, but as soon as i turn it of at the wall i loose the picture again. If i dont tune the LG tv into the dreambox i cant tune the other tv's in.
