I got this DVD of Blood Sweat & Tears from a live concert in 1969 as a ISO file. Then when I burned it there was no video file, just 4 .AOB files, and I have tried everything to play them, or rip the music out of them to a CD?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance!

They are dvd audio files. Very strange that they have been put up in that format. I think you have stumbled upon some real piracy intended content here.. It strikes me these files are actually taken from a "glass master" intended for a pressing plant. AFAIK it isn't possible to make a copy of a dvd-audio disk..

I can't come up with any way to convert them apart from playing the disk on a dvd-audio player and recording the output either... Though I must admit I have never come across a rip in this format before. Maybe somebody in the specialist dvd-audio domain may be able to shed some light on these files.

If I had a file in this format I would be tempted to attack it with ffmpeg having read the details, but I don't think looking at the encryption I would get very far. I have a sneaking feeling that even if you had a dvd-audio player these files would still not be playable from a burned disk as there are probably media checks and the like in them.
