hi all. trying to burn all of my music onto one dvd, so that i can play it in my car dvd player. the dvd player claims that it won't play burned dvd's, but it plays dvd-r 5's and dvd+r dl 9's. help please? i have tried a dvd-r and a dvd +r dl. thanks!!!!!
Hi bnrred5 Check and see if the player also supports mp3's - though most do. Here's a guide to make a mp3 dvd - link. So it plays the other burned disc's just not the mp3 ones?
i went to your link. that is exactly what i do and nothing. in fact i took the dvd to my computer at work and it did not even see the files. wierd. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
it would seem there's an issue with your method of burning mp3 dvds, then, and not with the player in your car. how are you burning mp3 to dvd?
Does the mp3 dvd play back in the burner? You might need an update to Nero - the versions in 6 went from 6.0.x.x, 6.3.x.x to 6.6.x.x so not sure on the 6.1. Update to this one 6.6.0.18: Package 1 http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/software/Nero6/Nero-6.6.0.18_no_yt.exe Package 2 (recode, vision, showtime) http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/software/Nero6/NVE-3.1.0.21_no_yt.exe
i did this for a friend and it worked... add each album into it's own folder and label it the artist/albums name (i'd also make sure that they had the mp3 tags on them...for example make sure inside the folder u can see the name of the artist and album name not just in the filename it self...) after getting all the folder ready ..burn the dvd as a "data disc" in nero i burn all my mp3 cds that way and dvd's that way also with the folders u can go from cd to cd with out having over 500 single track to work with... good luck
Just select"Make Data DVD" from the smartstart menu. I run it with nero burning rom, it allows you to have a better view of the files. Just browse for the folders and start adding (right click or drag), It Should Allow you about 4Gb of per Disc. I would remove any album art or other files though, b/c they show up on then screen when playing, takes up space too. If this Does'nt work, might be your dvd player doest support the type of disc, some older dvd players wont play specific brands, this has happend to me before, try diffrent brands.
