trying to switch hdd from unmodified xbox 1.0 to another unmodded 1.0 PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!

a couple of days ago i turn on my xbox 1.0 and got error 7 code, I read and read and learned a little bit about what is going on and how to fix it. So, i got another hdd out of and xbox that was broken, (don't know if the hdd is any good or not)don't want to blow up my PC finding out. So could someone tell me how to hook up the new hdd to my PC to unlock it and where to get the stuff I need to do so, and then the rest of the steps and stuff I need to get it working again. PLZ SIMPLIFY IT FOR ME I HAVE NEVER DONE THIS
