Hi ive been looking though all the posts u have left about how to update my sv2 box, and have downloaded what u have advised on the forum i have the null modem cable and adapter however i cant even get past step 1 which is installing the cable properly i have the disc which came with it from maplins (who i have phoned to advise me but with no joy) an when my computer asks for it i still have no joy, your help would be greatly appreciated as this is the first time i've ever done this! thanks
You would be advised to go to the link marked Starview at the bottom of my post and follow the guide, in particular to assigning the USB Adaptor, because in your case that is the most important one you have to get over, they can be a right pain and if you are running OP Vista then you will need different drivers, 2nd line.
