I've been away for a while and need some help. I have a molded ps3 system on Rogero 4.55 fw. I haven't used my system in close to a year. I wanted to see Capt America civil war in 3D. I got a copy and found out that I can't play it cause the firmware isn't up to date. If I update the firmware will I be able to watch blu rays as well as play the games I have on the hard drive. I have an older fat ps3 model machine If doing so can fix my problem, which of the newest version of firmwares should I use.

The PS3 should be able to play 3D BluRays since firmware 3.50, so that isn't your problem. Of course you can try updating to 4.80 CFW (don't go to OFW!), but I am not sure that this will fix your problem.

On the brewology site, there is a disable cinavia for each different firmware by RazorX.. Just download the one for 4.55
    Code:
    http://store.brewology.com/ahomebrew.php?brewid=272
Let us know if that worked.
