I recently bought 3 ttds fake chips from deal extreme i got two of them working no bother for my mates but there is a problem with the third one it wont load up it just stays on the WARNING HEALTH AND SAFETY screen and wont go no further it took nearly two wekks to get the bloody thing, so does anyone have any idea how to fix it if you can. cheers
Someone said using the fake killer got theirs to work. But to be honest: 1) TTDS is outdated and can't be updated... It's cheap. 2) It surely didn't cost you that much just buy a new one from a better retailer.
Sounds like the card isn't being recognized by the DS. Have you tried the paper shim trick? Some cards are different sizes and don't properly fit in the DS. And 2 weeks from DX isn't that bad. I've had shipments take over 2 weeks just to ship out, the whole time the item stated in stock... go figure. I'll never use them again though!
1st what is the paper shim trick and second do you know where else you can get ttds chips for cheap and more importanly WORK
If it's just a DSTT cart you need for DS and DS Lite, then NDX Systems do a great deal and they are a UK based company. Ordered my AceKard2i from them. http://ndx-systems.com/shop/review/product/list/id/8/category/21/ All in all with postage and packaging to Ireland, £15, probably about 20 euros.
The paper shim trick is putting a paper shim in the slot along with the dstt cart. this way it will make a better connection. You could also check out focalprice.com. They're basically the same as dealextreme.com (may even be the same people, I don't know), but they are a little more expensive. I got a few of these from them and they were genuine.
