Hi All, I live in Dublin have owned a Starview Box Super since October. I have basic NTL connection. All went well with Box until last week. Now instead of 180 channels I can only receive about 5-6. I've lost all the premium channels: Sport, Movies etc ...I've rebooted, Checked that EMU is set to 'ON'. Ive re-installed and auto tuned all stations - it says 181 received. When I return to S*y Sports it continuously downloads .. up to 220% but no pic appears. Have NTL re-scrambled their channels ... has anyone out there experienced similar problems ?? Do I need to install new firmware on The Box ?? Any help / feedback appreciated. Joe90.

Is Eamos FTA library ver 7.09 updated to include new fix ? If so then I understand that I go to his library and re-flash system with latest version of 7.09. Yes ? Thanks for help. Joe 90.

Malci, Many thanks for info. It is Starviwe 3, The Box Super (purchased Oct 2008). Its my first time loading firmware. My PC does not have 9 PIN socket. I have bought a USB adapter .. anything I need to look out for. I owe u a pint ... two if I get this sorted. Kids are suffering withdrawal symptoms without Disney ... and me without sports channels. Malec, I have followed your instructions. When I try to flash Box .... update box stays at 0%. What might be the problem ? Joe 90.

Malci / Tryabit, I have saved GTROM to stick and ran it on my laptop which has a 9 PIN COM port. Communication with Box is OK .. but when I run GTROM to flash Box progress stays at 0% ?? Box is on COM port is correct. Only issue may be that laptop is not connected to internet ? Frustrated, Joe 90 !!
if your using a usb connection try disconnect it where it attached to the null for a second and try again but you will have to be using the right com port
