this is quite embarrasing, but i don't know which moschip is installed in my ps2. i just took it to the store, left it there and they installed it. does anyone know any methods for turning the chip to sleep mode or stealth mode. by the way my ps2 is the slim version
Not really. Not without knowing which chip you have. You can either contact the people who modded it or take it apart and look inside. I [bold]do not[/bold] recommend this, there are too many things that can go awry. Do you see anything like Matrix or Toxic OS when you boot your PS2? The only real reason you should disable your chip is if you want to play original games online.
I have a DMS pro 4 and its L1 to disable the chip, try that. If not then i suggest u go back to the store and find out what chip it is. Next time try asking before hand, it would help alot more!!
