I've just started researching about mod chips, hard drives etc. and i keep reading about turning ur hard drive on and off and u need softwear for it and i would just like ot no what it means by turn on and off and what does it do?
I believe what you mean is locking and unlocking your HD. This is because you cant play on Xbox live with your HD unlocked b/c Microsoft will notice.
Also to answer your other question dont need software for this.The lastest version of Evox has the option of locking/unlocking on the dashboard
