Use a PSP phat running 1.50 or cfw to create the pandora battery. If you dont have access to a PSP running this firmware then people are selling them on ebay or im sure someone on the forum would make you a pandora if you send them your batt or PSP, whereabouts are you from? Im in UK East Sussex if you live anywhere near i could help out.

Problem solved so no need for anymore help ty guys

i could need some help if you would be kind enough to help me.

first of all ive had to use a pandora battery to get my psp into 1.5 and the upgrading it to 3.40 OE-A but. still even if i put ISO or CSO in to the ISO folder of my ms it doesn't show in the game menu of the XMB. and ive looked through the whole topic and found that the problem could be that the ms is fake but the information says magic gate supported. could any1 plz give me a hint of what i have to do?

the CSO that im trying to use comes from my friends PSP with 3.40 OE-A and he has no problem with it. however.

could the fact that the ms is only 1 gb big make this impossible?

i hope you could help me with this

Make sure you are puttingthe ISO files into X:\ISO\ not into X:\PSP\ISO

Try renaming the CSO file to fifa08 then place it in the /ISO folder and see if it shows. If the file name is to long it will not show in Game Menu.

Try placing a UMD in the bay. The NO UMD for 3.40 OE-A is not compatible with all ISO/CSO files. The most compatible NO UMD driver is Sony NP9660 and you only get that with 3.51 M33 and above firmware (I think 3.51 M33 had the Sony NP9660 driver).

So try and upgrade to 3.52 M33-4 using this guide HERE.

If you want the latest firmware then upgrade to 3.71 M33-2 + 1/50 ADD ON-2 using this guide HERE (You need to upgrading to 3.52 M33-4 first before updating to this custom firmware).

After you update to 1 of the above custom firmwares go HERE to get your ISO/CSO files working properly.

perhaps we should get more info about his problem before he starts trying new firmwares..

for example you say that some of the cso / isos are to big, i have that problem myself.. you see all games need extra space on your ms to be able to run. i got a game that was about 850-900 mb onto my 1 gig memory, and it said i had 24 mb space left, that was not enough for the game to be able to boot.

Did you try placing a UMD in the bay and play the ISO/CSO? It could be the ISO/CSO is not compatible with the NO UMD driver on 3.40 OE-A.

You really should update to at least 3.52 M33-4 custom firmware and follow the guide I gave to help get your ISO/CSO files working properly.

I already told you what to try.

Place a UMD in the bay and try to start the game.

What error message are you getting?

Is it not showing up on the Memory Stick?

Are you getting the "Game could not be started" error?

Is the game starting but only giving you a black screen?
