yep, i agree. there's been several cases where i've just switched my media to verbatim and the game worked, whereas it wouldn't before

 

sounds like it would be a d drive issue.. but then again, maybe its just the software.. though i've never had that problem with dvd decrypter or image burn.. what media are you using? and have you tried CloneCD?

 

sounds good, ill just try with verbatim. just bought 2 20 packs for 40 each shipped. the ones i have now are office depot.

I have a Mad Dog multimedia Dual Layer burner I purchased from circuit city and I use Memorex dual layer discs burned using DVD decrypter. No problems yet. So, as you can see, everyone has a preference and a theory as to what works, you will just need to try each way out.

 

so id get the same results from clonecd and dvd decrypter? i have both dont know which one to go with

 

My original copy of gears of war has been snapped in 2 by my son and I am not a happy bunny. Fortunately I have a working backup but need to back this up as well.

Just use common sense....it works!

All you need to do is create an ISO image of the disk using you're DVDR drive, very easily done.

 

use clonecd.

 

Will 1 to 1 copies on the fly to an external dvd writer work?

 

This may be a stupid question, can you use SS that you pull with a KREON drive and xbox backup creator?? Any difference?? If so What?? Speak slowly I am a newbie.

But how do you copy a copied xbox 360 game!

I thought i was clever and i burnt the image and a dvd file to a blank dual layer, but when i come to dump it on my hDD i always get! the error cyclic redundancy check, which i understand means that the file is corrupt, but the game plays ok so!!! what happened.

tryed to copy it in alcohol, but no joy and with nero also!

this has blown my mind ! can anyone help please as i do not want to D***load the game again!!!!!!!
