    Yes, I do.

I have also tried to change the name inside the .dvd file. I used a fear .dvd file, and changed the name to reflect the name for battle for middle earth. The break was 1913760. However, the burn didnt play on my 360.

Thanks for the help that you can give.

I also have another question, some of the games I download only come in files, no .rar files. How in the world do I get those to burn?

To everyone having problems burning .dvd files:

    1. Download ImgBurn, then go to settings/write/user specified, and type in 1913760
    2. Simply load the .dvd file into ImgBurn, and make sure you're using Verbatim DVD+R DL dvd's, then burn. This works for me ALL the time. I think that it also helps that I have a Pioneer 111D DL DVD Burner.

What ISN'T working for me though, is Radian's NTSC version of Kameo found in newsgroups. Has anyone been able to burn this correctly? I believe I am at least on coaster no. 7 with this one.

I unrar the files to produce a r-kameo.360 file, then I have tried using ssmerger 1.6, 1.7, and 1.7b to:

Split the Game Partition, then merge the Game Partition with a downloaded ss.bin file, and a WxRipper(also have tried Xtreme, NME, & the video partition split from r-kameo.360)Video Partition.

I have also tried merging the ss.bin and the various video partitions with the unsplit r-kameo.360 file to no avail.

The ss.bin file downloaded was an NTSC/J file. Since I am in the U.S. I'm thinking that this may be my problem, so I just downloaded the NTSC ss.bin file found on ss.softmodfiles.net, and am thinking that I need to try merging the game with it.

To help aid me in not making yet ANOTHER coaster, could someone let me know if I need to: Split the game/video partition (or both), and whether I need to use the WxRipper, Xtreme, or NME setting. If I could be pointed in the right direction of a pre-patched NTSC backup of Kameo, that would work even better. I have looked into torrents, but I have to register at blackcats-games.net to download any copies. Unfortunately for me, they aren't accepting any more registrants at this time.

I am using an XBOX360 with xtreme52a firmware for the TS-H943 drive; if this information helps any.

WHAT I WOULD DO IS GET A .DVD FILE FROM ANOTHER 360 GAME then move it in to the folder were you r missing the .dvd file then opern it with notepad delete the layer break the rename it to the same as image file sofor example if the image file has (image 000,then i would name the .dvd file image.000 hope that helps

Hmm.... I'm not sure that the .dvd file is simply missing. What I believed from what I've read, is that .360 files are PI files which haven't been patched/merged. This is the first time I've heard of using another .dvd file from another 360 game & editing it. Have you done this before with a .360 file?

@ wiseup: I made my own .dvd file per your instructions & came out with another blank. Is there anyone who has downloaded RADIAN'S Kameo upload & burned it successfully?

Hey I got the same download and never got it working. i tried the same thing as well. Someone told me to try renaming it to .iso but I doubt that would work - it probably needs some sort of patching. My question is why release a game that isn't patched and ready to go? If radian has the 162c drive there should be an endless supply of 360 games fully patched.

Does anyone know where I can get a PFI.BIN & DMI.BIN for Gears of War? Only site I know is http://ss.softmodfiles.net/ and they don't have it. Looking for NTSC region, is that the only site that has the ss.bin files etc?

I just verified myself and they do have the ss bin file for
"Gears of War" on wwww.ss.softmodfiles.net, look for it on the search tab next to NTSC they should have many. Good luck and let me know if it worked for you.

I am trying to do a hot swap with my xbox 360 game N3 and I can't get the WxRipper program to run I unrar it and get a folder with 5 items wx360.exe, wxRipper.exe, wxripper.db, wxMN.dll and
360-DVD5.LTF4 and when I click on either of the .exe files it comes up with a Application Error: the application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). Click on OK to terminate the application.
any ideas as to why this is happening? I've tried re-downloading it from other sites but all the same files.

What exactly is the Xtreme Firmware part of the required items? Is it a modification to the xbox 360?

    --> * XBox 360 w/ XTreme Firmware. Update- latest Extreme FW v3.1

I had a NTSC version of GoW, burned onto a dual layer dvd, yet when I place it into my xbox it say sometihng like "to play this disc, place it into an xbox 360 console"

Does this have something to do with XTreme Firmware or perhaps NTSC vs. PAL versions?

You need to flash you're DVD-ROM drive firmware in the 360 before you can play backups.

I suggest you read up over at http://forums.xbox-scene.com

I just dumped fifa 2007. when i try to put in the iso file in ss merger, it asks me if i want it to find the md5 number. when i click yes then it just starts loading, i left it for about half an hour and still no luck. can som1 tell me if i am doing somthing wrong.
when i tell it 2 not find the md5 file it happens really quick but the box at the bottom, 'required iso md5' and 'required ss md5' is blank.

What programs are you useing to Dump the file onto your harddrive? I am trying to use wxRipper.exe but the file won't work won't even open not to sure why. If I can get the file of the game onto my PC I'll play with it and when I get a burn that works I'll let you know how I did it. I just need to find an alternate program from wxRipper and wx360 thanks

    Hi there,
i just used wxripper to burn Fifa 2007, everything is perfect until i try using ss merger. i put the iso file in, when it asks for the md5 number i click yes, then it just loads. i left it 4 half an hour and still no response. however when i dont tell it to detect the md5 number then it loads up straight away but this means the iso md5 number and the ss md5 numbers are both missin. which only givs me the ss number which is in red.
can som1 plz help and tell me if i am doing somthin wrong. i have also tried the ss merger v1.7 bt still got the same problem.

Thats why I suggest getting the Samsung SH-D162C drive, no need to worry about any security sectors, one click dumps, another click burns, done......
