Wow... thanks for the tutorial but its really got me confused. I've been looking to buy a premodded console which has "ixtreme" firmware done on it. Is that enough to just open image files and click burn and thats it... or is there more to it?

    so...many....questions....can't .......answer....them....all!

yes your consoles firmware must be updated to the xtreme firmware
we can't link to it here some google/torrent searchs will help you find it

no burned game can play on live, they'll abn your serial number, if you want to play on live get ixtreme firmware(something like that)

if you us its ntsc, anywhere else pal, france is running something else though, if you bought of ebay check your manual

try putting the firmware on again, was your drive the type that could be modded, you can mod an unmodable drive but it won't work,

yu, it gets edited if needed, clone cd is always the way to go

we cant link there, torrent sites, rapidshare links should do

you must either get the key by purchasing it or downloading a keygen for it (key generator), buy it its great software

    ...too....many..Q&A....MUST STOPPPP!!!

what happened to all the members.. and seniors... and addicts!!?(WTF), come on even a couple of juniors will do!!

Ok, is there any way I can burn an xbox 360 game and be able to play that burned game on an xbox without altering the xbox 360's specifications. for example, if i were to burn a copy of halo 3. Then i want to play it over my friends house (the burned copy). would i need to alter his settings? and if i play online, will i get banned? is there any way to avoid altering xbox settings, and avoid getting banned?

no, to play backups you have to flash your dvd drive.

hey guys.. I know i'm new here but i've never used an xbox, let alone the x360 but seems way better and cheaper than the ps3... so i have some questions...

I'm looking to buy a pre-modded console. the shop claims it has a Falcon chipset and ixtreme firmware. Firstly, what does this mean? Also, how do I burn games? I know there were some kind people who put up lot of guides but I'm still confused. for eg. in a chipped ps2, all you had to do was open iso and burn with nero or isomagic or whatever.. is it the same with the x360? I have a Dual Layer dvdrw drive but I just wanna know the process of burning games, and if possible someone could explain in laymen's terms. Someone mentioned getting some clonedvd and editin the .dvd file, which left me clueless. I'm a computer engineer so I can grasp what to do if someone could kindly tell me exactly what is what, what needs to be done. Also, the company selling the premodded 360 warned me not to use backup games to use online cuz I will be banned. is this true, and if yes then what kind of ban? Will i get banned from xbox live, will my xbox just stop working altogether or what... man these 8th gen consoles are crazy.... any help would be appreciated...
    Thanks guys.

Weird, You guys say that Verbatim brands are the best to use. I just got me a New Sony Writer today. I burned WWE 2008 with a Memorex Dvd+R Dl. I tried it and it worked. Then I tried burning it on the Verbatim 2.4x Dvd+R Dl. It failed, then I tried again with another new Verbatim one and it failed again.

My Xbox 360 was banned from xbox live yesterday and I have a second one but my mod guy no longer lives nearby so I was wondering if I was to just pull the drive out of the xbox 360 that was banned from live and put it in the Xbox 360 that wasn't Banned from live would it work on Xbox live?
    Would it play my burns?.

Hello I am new at this although I have been doing lots of research, I went on the itchycats web site and downloaded my first game. I have dl burner and bought dl dvds and installed clone cd, so I thought I was all set. the person that referred me to the website said you will have two files when your game is downloaded one .dvd and the other dont even bother with , so here is my problem instead of two files i have 50 and none of them say .dvd. so i researched and downloaded winrar and found my .dvd i thought i was finally on my way and when i opened the file with clone cd i browsed through and found the .dvd file clicked and it says error can not find.iso files. please help

You download from itchycats after the thing is done downloading its gonna say Repairing then Decompressing I think. You gotta wait for that to be done. If you dont then you will have like the 50 files but once its done you should have like 4. Two of the files are the Iso and the .Dvd.

    Hi all !

I'm trying to burn an image of Halo 3 - filename: ccclx-halo3.dvd with CloneCD

I've fixed the .dvd so that it points to the "ccclx-halo3.iso"

THE PROBLEM - It doesn't start in my xbox 360. It says "Mixed Media Disc" at the bottom of the console.

Mu burner is a LH-20A1H with ll05 firmware (which refuses to be upgraded) and the disc is Memorex 2.4 DVD+R DL burned at 2-2.4X speed.

    Anybody familiar with this problem?

ok. I managed to burn and play several games from ISO files.

Now, I want to backup the DVD I have just burned from the ISO.
i.e a straight backup from existing backup, and not from ISO.

Can I burn it straight from Clone DVD, without worrying about layer break when burning ?

    Hi people.

Basically I flashed my drive the other night and I was eager to get it all up and running so started downloading games etc, finally Call of Duty 4 downloaded today, so I used CloneCD to put it onto DVD, I didnt read anywhere about changing the booktype to DVD-ROM so obviously the first copy didnt work, I found out about changing the booktype after I had already burnt, so I burn another copy of Call of Duty 4 with booktype set to DVD-ROM (I have checked the media and its definatly burnt as a DVD-ROM)

Ok, the first one that goes into the drive (the one with booktype set to DVD+R) says unplayable disc, the 2nd one that goes into the drive (booktype set to DVD-ROM) the XBOX logo comes up on the screen for a minute or 2 then just goes to the Xbox dashboard and just acts as if there was no disc.

I updated the firmware with textbooks guide and it said it all completed successfully etc and it can read the original Call of Duty 4 fine just not the downloaded versions (I downloaded it from a torrent as I didnt want to buy a kreon drive just yet to make my own backups)

Im using PHILIPS DOUBLE LAYER DVD+R Discs as the shop didnt have any Verbatim but the chap in there told me that the philips works on xbox 360 anyway (he uses them himself)

I dont really know what other information you need but I hope someone would kindly help me resolve my problems asap!

    Thank You
    Jim
