So, I am using a laptop and clonecd to burn, I have only beeen able to burn COD4-for x360 everything else I've tried clone cd will start burning and then say it's complete usually 15min or less into the burn even though it is not done burning. I have a feeling it is not my burner but rather clone cd messing up since I bought an external burner from pioneer to try and had the same prob, so I returned it. I tried IMG burn with my .iso and .dvd files but it tells it's the wrong kind of file. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

ps- I have used both TDK and Verbatim DVD's (DL) and only the TDK worked

    Hi,

I am newbie for doing backups of the xbox 360 game. I am trying to burn my first downloaded (from internet) game on memorex dvd+r dl. But i am unable to find the proper ss bin file on teh internet and when ever i am using ss merger 1.7b it says the error connecting to the database. The game i downloaded is ace combat 6 ntsc and in teh rar folder there are two different kinds of file. 1 is .dvd and another file is .iso

can you anyone please tell me that i can burn the .dvd file directly without going through the hassle of merging ss bin file or i need to do that step every time for any game. any help would be great
    thanks in advance

Hi I need more help. When I tried to burn .dvd file with XBC 2.60 every time appears 'write error 0X2A 00 00 00 01 A0 00 10 00 cancelled at LBA 0x000001A0{416}. My burner is Pioneer 111D and if I try Imgburn it sais succesfully but when I tried to play on Xbox 360 said 'open tray. So is something wrong with XBC 2.6?
Thank you a lot for your help.

get xdvdmulleter, click on the Load From File tab and open your ISO, make sure there are checks in all the boxes under Xtreme Compatibility...if so open the .dvd file w/ either imgburn or clonecd and burn.

Can anyone help me. I burned this Regular Xbox iso to a Dvd-R and a Dvd+R DL Disc. I put it in my Xbox 360 and it says Error X:5818.0 B:1884.0. Anyone know what the problem is ? I burned one using ImgBurn and other using Dvd Dycrpter. My Xbox 360 is modded.

if you're using ixtreme i'm pretty sure xbox 1 games aren't supported anymore.....use xdvdmulleter to find out if the iso is ixtreme compatible...refer to my last post.

based on the fact that you said you're trying to burn to dvd-r I'm sure it won't work though....needs to be ixtreme compatible....you need to find out what firmware is on your drive. if you use xbl, make sure you're using ixtreme.

Just so we all know i also have a modded xbox and for the longest time ive had a problem with burning games and it saying open drive or unreadalbe disk and all that other good shit. From what ive found out so far there is a rare probelm with some drives please check the internet too see if your drive is one. also make sure to burn with vervatims at no more then 2.4 speed with ether imgburn or clone cd. Also you must burn the iso nothing else it will do the rest its self. There is a way to fix the drive problem someone said something about an elastic fix im not sure how to do it exactly but ive heard many good things. You should all know you will eventually be banned no matter what the firmware as i was banned yesterday. Anyways good look and hope that helps some of you

assuming that game is on the backward compatible list and it's a retail copy, yes.

all retail games will work w/ any firmware (if an xbox 1 game it needs to be backward compatible)

i just bought a pack of verbatim DL discs but none will work on my 360!!!

have done many games using TDK but was told that verbatim were better. is there any reason why the verbatims do not work??

skip187- you may have a spiral of doggy disc's(damaged from factory), if you got the discs for a very cheap price this could be, make sure you have the book type enabled right, along with the lowest burn speed, if you want to trouble shoot this futher post back with specs, other wise just be lazy like me and go back to TDK

gehx-thank you very much for replying to this forum, it was neglected for about 4 pages
