you have to except that you are a new newbie to the site and people who have been here a bit longer have built up there reputation
now im not saying you are a scammer but a lot of new people try there luck on here
and never heard from again
now as far as ive read you lost nothing and he lost nothing
no harm done

also status does not mean you are better or have more knowledge than others
but it does show a bit of "loyalty" and "credibility" to the forum
