Tutorial on running ISO's via USB on Devhook, Firmware 1.5 ONLY

now i'm trying to upgrade my dev hook to 0.45. but i kept on getting stuck in step 11:

11)Now, return to the Devhook GUI to mess around with the settings with usbhostfs.exe running (and saying- "Connected to device") and USB enabled, use these settings-

by returning to devhook GUI, u mean by going to Games>memory stick>devhook right? but when i select devhook to launch it, my psp says that 'this game cannot be started. the data is corrupted.' i mean i have my usbhostfs.exe running and it says connected to device.


and also about step 7:

7)GO to the usbhostfs_PC_Win folder (wherever you unzipped it) and put your ISO, in the ISO folder (put .iso infront of your ISO filename).

i'm kind of confused. do i put my iso in the ISO folder in the computer or psp? and do i have to copy and paste anything from the usbhostfs_PC_Win to my psp?

please help me to clear this up ... i really want to get my games going...

fzrhm go to www.PSP-HaXors.co.nr and then in Downloads get the Ultimate_Installer_USB_Edition_v0.3.1__UI

7)put the iso games in the ISO folder in your PC if you will use USB(or in your psp if you will use your MS)
on your MS
ISO/(.iso games)
PSP/GAME/(app's)
dh/(dh files)

on your PC
usbhostfs_PC_Win/ISO/(iso games)

 

ok i got everything working except it does not show this on the devhook UMD-ISO: ubshostfs0:/ISO/game.iso can someone please help me

Was out for a week, School trip

Make sure your ISO is places in the ISO folder in the usbhostfs_PC_Win folder.

It should also have a .ISO extension.

 

TO download offf meagupload or the other site, do u need an account??? I goto both and it just says about getting a membership

Any idea why games that worked before, now get the 80020148 error?

 

benskig are your iso games untouched? If they are not you will get the 80020148 error.(or do you have a Game UMD in your dive?)not a movie UMD

grayden if DH is working why do you need help?
(it can say ubshostfs0:/ISO/game.iso or ms0:/ISO/game.iso)

 

I do have a UMD game inserted. I can only assume the ISO's are untouched, as they worked when everything was on my second computer. Same ISO's, same DH files, the only difference is I'm using PSPhost now.

 

I do not know why it is not working for you.Try to get a new DHv46 full pack. and the Windows_PSP_Type_B_USB_Driver_For_PSP(it's an installer) at ps2nfo.com (did you do what the Tutorial here tell you?)

 

when i try to do the options it doen't have the option UMD-ISO

 

none of the game eur and jap games will load. My dev hook only displays incorrect region


Do i need a higer version of UMD 2.00?


Do i need a different region umd to play imported iso?

 

I have tried every tutorial I could find including this one. I have just realized there are different versions of usbhostfs. And its the new one that wont connect, the older versions will connect, but wont load game.

 

omg i dunt get step 7) i cant even get the drivers indstalled, wen it says new hardware fuond and i try to install it, it doesnt install

The new devhook does not allow to mess with the registry file on the psp.

 

wen i press start and it should go to my iso rite, it juss goes to a black screen for 5 sec. then my psp shuts off
