Tutorial on running ISO's via USB on Devhook, Firmware 1.5 ONLY

grayden it's the option where you see all your iso's.(it's the first option)it can be UMD disc (it doen't have to say UMD-ISO)

leptons I have a US UMD game and all the eur and jap games work.
(1.0, 1.5 or 2.0 FW UMD)any FW game UMD will work
Do you have a UMD game?(that is what you need not a UMD movie)

Yes when you press start it should go to your iso(or in to the 2.71 xmb)it will be in the UMD icon
I think it's your iso or .cso that are not untouched.(did you try more then one game)try 3 iso games.
Where did you get your DHv46 full pack?(like 20mb with FW files that you need)
try to get a new DHv46 and did you use my settings?

 

ok, i tryed it again with the same material dled from sum where else thoe, this time i made it to the part wen u press start, after that it auto mattically reboots, it goes to the sony entertainment screen and then nito the swirling screen saver thing, then it freezes.

anyone can help?

This is a great tut, but I'd rather run iso's without having to use a usb cable

wat do u mean by streaming, btw are people gonna creat files which can be smaller than ciso or dax ?? and run with our next devhook?

 

@juan2320: from that site u told em to go i downloaded DevHook Ultimate Installer: USB Edition v0.3.1 Final, now i will try the devhook

i think i just found out my problem, i was just looking around in the devhook launcher mod 1.35 and then went to flash rom, then on the first one (flash1: > ms0: backup configfile) pressed x on itand it says, devhook isnt installed in flash 0:

do i need to install devhook in those flashes?

if i do can sum one show me how becuz i dunt know how to

 

DCP_PSP if you do not what to use USB(play the iso games from your MS)

Vampiro93 streaming the games is useing Wifi to play them from your PC(not a smaller file then ciso)

All you need is the DevHook Ultimate Installer: USB Edition v0.3.1 Final(delete the old DH files)and conect your PSP with your PC and install it.
I think that the flash1 folder is in the same web site(it will go in the dh/271/flash1 folder in your MS) but if you use the Installer v3.1 you will not need it

Does it run the games right off yur PC?? Or can u run them off A USB HD without a PC?? PC I only hae 232.9 MHz in the main post it says somthing about 333MHz, or is that how much s PSP has????

i have this setup installed on my pc. however i can't get any of the games to load unless i plug my psp into the usb cable before trying to start the game (when still in devhook setup) to get "USBHOSTFS:connected" status.
is there any way to avoid having to get the "USBHOSTFS:connected" status and still be able to play the games.
any help is appreciated. thanks.

 

@juan2320: i did install DevHook Ultimate Installer: USB Edition DevHook Ultimate Installer: USB Edition , but now how do i play iso's through the via usb cable? becuz wen i installed it it didnt have the devhook launcher mod v1.35, so is there sum way i could get devhook launcher mod v1.35 by itself becuz i only have a 32mb ms and the DevHook Ultimate Installer: USB Edition DevHook Ultimate Installer: USB Edition took up 29mb of it

 

realg187 you have a DHv46 with mods (that is why you don't have 222 or 333) I use 222 on all my games

EJHizz it only works on a PC HD and you need to plug the psp into the usb cable all the time(that is how the games load)or play them from your MS(get a 4gb MS for $100)

1773 the DH Ultimate Installer has a new GUI mod(with USB that works the same as the mod v1.35)
but if you what it to be smaller use the new mod DevHook Launcher and VSHEX Mod v1.62b here http://dl.qj.net/DevHook-Launcher-a...mebrew-Applications/pg/12/fid/10390/catid/151
but delete all the old DH file and reintall DHv46 with No mods.
Then put the mod files(dh ,PSP) in your MS(overwrite all)

 

Can you run ISOs right off the Memory Stick Pro Duo?? PS I only have a Pentium MMX 232.9MHz CPU, can I still run ISO's off my PC??

 

@juan2320: ok i will jsut install it and wont make it smaller, but after i install it and go to the device hook gui launcher mod and then go to umd select i dunt c my iso's, where should i put my iso's so i can c them in my umd select so i can select them to play. and wen i launch the device hook gui launcher mod the sbhost.exe doesnt go connected

 

PS where can u get 4BG for $100, I can get 2GB for 100, did you push the wrong key when saying that???
