Tutorial on running ISO's via USB on Devhook, Firmware 1.5 ONLY

Juan, I'm interested in that ripkit you said. I would like to make all my Devhook games smaller by leaving the English language only. Which do you recomend and where can I get it? Thanks

 

maskiri do not post the same thing 2 times. Use Winrar to extract 1 of the files.(you will get a .iso or .cso file)

I do not know why it will not work.

PedoJuco go to maxconsole.net ripkit forums (or ps2nfo.com in downloads)
look for the one you what.(some rip more stuff out and some rip less)
500mb(some of the sound in the game is riped out)I did not like this one
700mb(only the other laguages and update folder)
but for most ripkits the game has to be untouched so they work.(so do not rip out the undate folder with UMDgen)only use .cso(the ripkits will rip out the update folder)

I had DH046, but I was missing the usb mod part. i was using another usb mod, but it did not work very well, especially as my list of games was big, I could not see all my titles.

Now everything works great !!!!!

BUT I have one request

I had my DH046 able to read .DAX files, thanks to a plugin i once downloaded. Is there a way to have that with this mod ??

Silvio6 I think that the .Dax mod only works on DHv46 with no mods(USB)
but you can try to put the umdciso.prx file that the dax mod has. In the dh folder in your MS(where the old one is)

i was wondering.... if i play games from the pc via usb does tht mean tht i hav to keep the usb cable plugged into the psp throughout the time i play?

ThisDude Yes you have to keep the usb cable plugged in when you play from your PC.(that is how it loads all the levels)

help pliz my devhook works but when i load the isos sometimes it turns to this black o blue screen and freeze and doesnt load the def jam iso ...please help anyone!!!!

 

If DH is working with other iso games but does not work with def jam (freeze)
Then your def jam is a bad dump or not untouched(it does not have to do anyting with DH not working)
Is your def jam Untouched?(if it's untouched it has to work)The same settings work for all games.
If you riped out the update folder and rebild the iso with UMDgen 3.5 it will not work.(only VxdromX works with that game)
For me I had to use VxdromX to rebild the iso(def jam)so it works.
or use the Untouched game as .cso(smaller then iso)

 

im having a prob on gangs of london when i play it thrue usb it loads but when it tells u to chose a gang it shuts off

My gangs of london(untouched) works ok in DHv46

Is your Def Jam untouched? What did you do to it?(tell me all you did)
If you use UMDgen to rip the game it will not work.(you need to use VcdromX) Tell me if you what me to PM you how to use VcdromX.
If your game is untouched you do not need to do anything to it.(it will work like that in DH)

 

I have a TA-082 and I was using DevHook 0.46 for FW 2.71 to emulate 1.50. But after I install the USB mod for DevHook 0.46, I could no longer load up my DevHook 0.46 for 2.71 anymore. Is there any way to get the DevHook and the USB mod working together on a TA-082?

 

Edit: Eh...nvm. My bro is a lil b!tch and he wont let me install the drivers.. Too bad..I really want to try it out.

 

wat do u mean untouched ..i dwnloaded it as a to**ent frm this site www.limitepsp.com then i just extracted the files with winrar and was made into in iso format with umd data and PSP_GAME in it...i tried to use vcd...x but it didnt work,,so help its hapenin with my prince of persia as well

 

hey, im going crazy trying to figure out how to run coded arms iso without UMD on my FW 1.5, im using devhook 0.46, but it gets stuck at the now loading screen, i'll give whoever helps me figure it out 3$ via paypal
