Anybody know if using psphosts would help solve my issue instead of using usbhosts?

Any way yet to use this method with the TA-082? I've got Hen C and Devhook 0.4x. I can run GPSP and ScummVM (all I've tried so far) and my current actual firmware is 2.71. If any of that helps.

If you can use devhook in a TA-082 psp this has to work.(try it)
but I think you need to use a mod for DHv45.(or do you have DHv46)

I've got Devhook 0.46 launcher on my PSP, but a tutorial on another site, that I used to get this far, tells me to use devhook 0.4x (They're two different options under game: memory stick) eventhough the tutorial told me to download 0.46 as well (I assume the launcher for 2.71, just converts .46 to run on 2.71, but that's just a theory, then I emulate firmware 1.5, and I can run homebrew.

It seems to work really well . . . at least so far.

Hi ... about 2 Days ago I bought a PSP. I have been on a Torrent website which stats that I didn't have to do much to play 'back up' games on it. Now I have descoved that I have to download a load of things to play the games!? Well I took the easy way out and downloaded Devhook 0.46 Ultimate Installer 1.1.1. On my PSP I have come up with two programs whitch are :- 'Return to 1.50 from FW2.xx' and 'DevHook PSP Firmware Emulator'. But when I select Return to 1.50 all that happans in the PSP resets and I have turn it on again and when I select DevHook it states that the data is corrupted. What do I have to do to play my 'Back Up' PSP games?? I have looked all over the web and cannot seem to solve my prob.

P.S My PSP is running on the 2.71
P.S.S Im a tecnalogical Noob! So go easy on me!

    Thanks

WhiteVice if you what to use 2.71 in DH you will need the FW files(like 20mb)

Dnallov you need a 1.5 psp to use this.(or use HenC for 2.71 psp)but only DHv45 work.(search for a new thread) and Read the Readme.
Go here to downgrade to a 1.5 psp. http://www.psp-hacks.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=17935&p=1

Alien13 USBHOSTFS has to be on before you go in to DHv46.
Do you have the type B driver installed?

youngwun0 do you have your iso's in a ISO folder?(where the usbhostfs is in your PC)

Fako put your USB cable in a new USB port.(and reinstall it)

Guys I am about fed up with this. I have tried 4 different tutorials trying psphost, usbhost, and usblink. Each time I do things correct, install that driver several times. Run the program and have usb cable still connected when I go into devhook. Usb is enabled in an opiton in devhook, and no matter what I never seen my .iso or .cso. I have a .cso in my iso folder, and I have that whole big folder selected

    psp-iso-.cso

So in that case I have the psp folder selected.

    What else can I do?

Alien13 it is here in the first page(did you look) usbhostfs_PC_Win in that you will see a driver folder
Run DHv46 with USB On(in other settings) and have the usb cable connected(with the usbhostfs black page open in your PC)
your PC will tell you to intall the type B drive(go to the driver folder)
Then you will see your iso's that are in your PC.

OK thanks... um nah, I didn't download that file since i already had it :S

Ill try that and see how it goes. Thanks

[Edit]: OK I found out the problem.. I move my Cord to another USB port and It worked first shot :p

Thanks for all the help =)

[Edit 2]: Ok when i go to load the ISO ((PofTC: DMC)) It just goes back to the PSP selection screen. Should that happen? If so what do I do next to get into the game?

Dnallov, i know you are a noob and all, but you should have searched forums as to what you need to play back up games. first is a v1.5 psp. if you bought a psp in the last week, and it was new, chances are this feat may be impossible (at least for now). look into checking if you have a t-082 motherboard for the psp, if you do, see if there is any way to downgrade now, if not, you will have to wait. if you can downgrade your psp, find devhook, and install it to your psp. follow the instructions to adding isos to your memory stick, and use the one that says devhook, and ues the settings explained on page one of this fourm. if you need any help using devhook, there are better instructions, i just thought you might need somewhere to start
P.S. [bold] DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT[/bold] downgrade normally if you have a t-082 motherboard, see if there is another way to get around it

    What game is that?(PofTC: DMC)
When your are in the DH menu and select a game it has to go in to 2.71 xmb(menu) or load the game.
Waht is the PSP selection screen for you?
Is it the DH menu? if so try a new game and see if it works.
or is it the 2.71 xmb(menu)? If so go to the Game icon in the menu and you will see your game.(press it to play)
What are your settings? (do you what my settings)
