Tutorial on running ISO's via USB on Devhook, Firmware 1.5 ONLY

Alien13 Pirates of The Caribbean is working untouched for me.

This settings work on all games.(they were like 2 pages back here)
DEVHOOK v0.46(FW v2.71)
TARGET: (reboot XMB)
UMD-ISO: ms0:/ISO/game.iso
UMD-MODE: ISO ANYUMD
FLASH: ms0:/dh/271(MS HOOK)
UMD Ver.: 2.xx -> 2.00
CLOCK: 222/111
USB: Enabled(or off if you have iso's in your MS)
PL-ADR: 89000000

If it does not load the game and it takes you to the 2.71 xmb(Main menu) Go to the Game icon(UMD) in the menu and you will see your game.(press it to play)
You need a UMD game in the drive so it works.Do you have a UMD game?

Hi i have a TA 082 board with 2.71. I run devhook and Henc to play ISO...can Anyone help me how to go for USB as all my previos tries went in vane...\

I followed all the steps on the tutorial, and although I got everything working (I had to put the contents in the PSP/GAME150 folder since I am running 2.71SE-B), the game and PSP menus after I load ISO's are in German! Is there any way to fix this?

Go in to the settings in the 2.71 menu and change the languege.

iv learnt a lesson to never get touched games..im only getting untouched ie. 350mb and above because athaz either they dnt wrk o there is no sound

maskiri untouched games are the good games.(and there are some games that are smaller then 350mb untouched)

No you can not connect two PSPs at the same computer.
Some one sed that they got it to work with a game. So I tryed it on 2 games and the psp freezes when the other psp is reading the game.(or it dose not let you see the game in the list) but you can try it and see if it work for you.

 

can some1 help me pliz...iv been tryn to run isos via usb...so when my computer says found new hardware PSP B and when i try to install it says cannot finish installing needs software someting something...Anythng i can do??

 

maskiri that is the type B driver and you need to look for it in your PC with the window that tells you that.Go to the driver folder in the usbhost folder.(Do not let the PC look for it)

 

I'm having a problem. Some ISO's work using 2.71 SE-B and some dont'. Do I need to do something special? I know the ISO is supposed to work under it because I saw someone post that it works. Can someone help?

 

Dakrt Why are you posting in a DHv46 thread?(go to a 2.71 SE-B thread)

There are some game that will not work in 2.71 SE-B so you will need to use the DHv46(20mb) that you had in your 1.5 psp.(put the folders in the GAME150)

Try this first
go into the recovery menu then go to
Advanced, ---->Advanced configuration and then click and disable Plain Modules in UMD/ISO
More games work with this disabled.(like Socom 2 with no-umd mode)
There are some games that work only in UMD or NO UMD mode.

Heres a Q for you i have two psps one white one black my kid has the black one which iv set up using this great tut so he can play games off my hard drive but was wanting to know is it possible to play the 2 of them off my hard drive i tried doing it but the usb host just says that addy is already in use......just wanting to know if it can be done so he can kick me butt at fifa street lol
